We are so happy that we had chosen Cervo between many of the hotels we were concidering. The staff was great, they helped with everything we needed.Rooms were being cleaned every day and towels changed.Breakfast was also great rich and various.Location couldn't be better-metro station 500m away to take you to Duomo. We are deffinitely coming back some day :)
The leaving I guess.
The room looks like it was ancient. Being the location (very close to Milan Central Station), you would expect excellent (or at least good) conditions. Wireless was only in the reception, the room looks like it had at least 50 years without any reconditions, on the walls there was some sort of textile material (which was kind of dirty/old-ish). The elevator was i think the very first elevator in the world. Very small (we barely managed to enter with two medium backpacks) and seems to be very insecure (I decided to use stairs in the morning). However, I was lucky enough to stay there only one night. If I ever go to Milan again, I will certainly NOT pick this hotel again!
The location was great. Just opposite the bicycles available to take, and also very close to the Repubblica Metro station. Also, trams pass outside the hotel and the stop is seconds away! It is 5 minutes' walk from Garibaldi station to travel and Garibaldi bars for the night. Breakfast was quite good, too. Free Wifi was also useful, even though somewhat slow.
The hotel, despite being greatly renovated, does show its age at some points. This might not be a favourite for some people, but in overall the building is very good.
It is close to the Republica metro station, just three stops from the Duomo station (center). There is also a bus and a tram stop very close. I would suggest the metro though,we never waited more than two minutes.Nice area with quite a few restaurants around (there is also an Irish pub right next to the hotel). Although our room was at the first floor, there was no noise from the street when the window was closed. The room was big enough and the bed was large and comfortable. Air con worked fine, not loud. The bathroom was decent, with hot water all day. Free WiFi in the room. Breakfast was ok. Apart from all the sweet stuff, they offer scrambled and boiled eggs, bacon and sausages.
The shower was very small. Ok you could take a shower, but they could 've made it a bit bigger. Would have liked more fruit or a fresh juice in the breakfast bar. No english speaking tv channels (or any other language other than Italian actually).
We had to go to the us Embassy in Milan to take care of a stolen passport so we chose Hotel Cervo for it's proximity. The staff was extremely gracious, friendly and helpful. The rooms are not modern but very clean and the overall atmosphere is comfortable and relaxing.
Excellent staff. Reliable wifi available in room. Clean room/facilities. Close to metrostation and main train station. Easy to get into city centre (Duomo).
Fairly expensive for such dated rooms, but they were clean and Milan accomodation is expensive in general.
Good location and Good breakfast Wonderful View !! There haven't offer the dinner, so I need to eat outside; however, I think that is good because I can enjoy the Mlilan's night and deliciouse food. But, I need to say that if u have no time to take a dinner, a supermarket is near, so very convenient. comfotable bed that I could get a good sleep.
I also want to say there have no a micromave oven and electric boiler , so I can't heat the food(I bought it from the supermarket because I went back to hotel late) . That's a bad point I think.
staffs were very kind and breakfast was goooood !! it's a little far away from the subway station (10~15minute) but it's not expensive and it was quite and comfortable. right next to the hotel, there's a market where you can buy lots of things you want :-)
Room was very warn down and funky
Located centrally, the hotel was an easy 20 min walk from the old centre, a 5 min taxi ride from both train stations, and there was a supermarket a couple of doors away. The room was clean and quiet, with a clean spacious bathroom & good shower. Breakfast consisted of a good selection of hot and cold food, with a surprisingly good espresso coffee from the self-serve machine. Staff were friendly and helpful, and acted professionally when we had to sort out a glitch with the debit-card pre-authorisation. WiFi was fast.
We found it difficult to find a restaurant nearby - there were plenty of bar/cafes however.
Location is perfect, between city centre and central station. The room was very quiet although near breakfast area. Breakfast is very good, fresh fruit salad, eggs, tomato juice. Generally much better than 3*s I stayed before. I would definitely come again.
The hairdryer did not work, but I was given one on reception.
Near to 24hrs Carefure and good breakfast.
The rooms door lock. Only use key lock and unlock outside. Only allow 1 key. So when i go out of room I lock the door but cannot bring the key while somebody still sleeping in the room. When I come in again have to wake up the person sleeping in the room. Inside have to use key to open the door.
A well situated "vintage" correct hotel.
Good location, near to a metro station. Close to an exellent restaurant. Very good breakfast and the first one in our 1 month stay in Italy to offer eggs and sausage.
Some of the wall coverings in the room and the bathroom need to be refreshed. Air conditionning did not work, so that we had to sleep with the window open-which proved to be very noisy, at least part of the night. The most expensive hotel in our 1 month stay in Italy, but I guess that is Milan.
It was comfortable. We were travelling by train and it was a short drive from train station. Milan was easy to reach re public transport. Supermarket next door was handy.
